What is Dental Hygiene?
Dental hygiene ensures difficult to reach plaque is removed from your teeth. It removes rough surfaces which contribute to build up of bacteria and improves the health of your teeth and gums. Hygiene treatments help you maintain a brighter, whiter smile. Dental Hygiene Treatments include Scaling and Polishing, Oral Hygiene Instruction and Deep Scaling Root Cleaning.
What to expect?
Our Hygienist is very thorough and you can expect your Hygiene Treatment to last between 20 and 30 minutes. This is recommended every 6 months but in some cases 3 months would be more beneficial. Our hygienist may recommend to use Tepes or Wisdom tooth picks whilst at home, which you can purchase in our dental surgery.
